College programs help

Hi everyone I was hoping someone could help me. I'm starting to look at colleges and I'm trying to find ones with really amazing acting and musical theater programs. I have a 3.8 GPA just so people kinda know where I stand in terms of grades and I haven't taken SATs yet I take that in May. I'm really looking on the east coast and have considered the UK but I'm not sure. The one thing that my parents have requested with this is that I get I think it's called a liberal arts education you know math and history and all that jazz. I would really appreciate any of you suggestions I'm just really lost and I have everyone acting like there an expert and I just need help thanks in adavance for the suggestions.

Hey there!
Im going through all of this now actually!
I have/am currently auditioning for a bunch of schools
It sounds to me what you and your parents want is is program with a BA

Most of my schools that Im applying to are BFA and include CCM, CMU, Penn State, Ithaca, BoCo, Montclair, among others (those are the top ones)

The only liberal arts schools that Im applying to that are BA programs are Marymount and Wagner College - both in the city

If you have any other questions I might be able to help you out as I go through this!

Thanks for the help! I'll look into those schools. I have looked at Marymount and I think it's a nice school. Do you know anything about NYU or Manhattanville?

I know NYU is supposed to be good
I am familiar with their old CAP21 program which was their MT studio but they are no longer with NYU
I believe their new studio is actually the "New Studio"

Never heard of Manahttanville actually

Probably no one else on here would tell you about DeSales University. We have a phenomenal theatre department. Everything is top notch. Look into it. It's in the middle of Pennsylvania but it's practically Broadway.

@ ChildrenwillListen...

May I ask what makes your university "practically Broadway" ????
