Kansas City Rep is set to extend their family-friendly production of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Mark Twain’s classic coming-of-age story about a boy growing up in a small Missouri town on the banks of the Mississippi River.
“Thank you to Kansas City families for supporting The Adventures of Tom Sawyer – a magical production of a popular American story that takes place in Kansas City’s backyard,” said the Rep’s artistic director Eric Rosen. “Shows like Tom Sawyer, and our annual production of A Christmas Carol, introduce many children and families to live theatre and provide their first ‘I love theatre’ moment.”
