Youngsters will travel back in time to when dinosaurs last roamed the land at Crown Center's new children's exhibit, Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice™ . The exhibit, open May 26 to September 9, is located in the Crown Center Shops Showplace on Level 1 at 2450 Grand Boulevard. There is no admission fee.

As visitors move through the exhibit, created by the Minnesota Children's Museum, they encounter realistic, fully touchable dinosaurs, including a Tyrannosaurus rex and Triceratops. At the Big Dig, children uncover dinosaur bones and examine "fossils" in the Field Research Station. Kids play on a large 3-D landscape table, complete with dinosaurs, foliage and formations. At the Photo Kiosk, visitors can take a photo and email a digital postcard to friends and family.

Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice™ is ideal for children ages 3-10. It will be open to the public during Crown Center Shops regular shopping hours: Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Thursday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.
