ACT One Fine Arts Academy Announces Fall 2012 Class Offerings

Fall classes and enrollment are now posted on the ACT One website. Class size is limited, so enroll early. Once a class is full, ACT One will close it, but they will start a waiting list for the class. Go to www.act1kc.com to read all about fall 2012 classes, lessons, and workshops!

Fall Theater Classes will be held on Mondays and Tuesdays with our Winter Wonderfest Performance on December 7 and 8! Classes include the following themes:

Beginning Acting: Phineas and Ferb for ages 8-12 and Toy Story for ages 8-12
Jrs. Musical Theater: Robin Hood for ages 5-7
Musical Theater: Disney Kids for ages 8-12, Disney on Stage for ages 12-19, and Little Women, a Broadway Revue, ages 12-19
Dance: Shake It Up for ages 8-12, and Footloose for ages 12-19

Fall Theater Classes will run from September 10 through December 8. For more information, click here.

Dance Studio

Classes will be held on Mondays and Thursdays and will include:

Preschool Dance for ages 3-5
Petite's Dance for ages 5-7
Beginning Dance for ages 8-11
Intermediate Dance for ages 12-16
Advanced Dance for ages 14-19

Studio Classes run September through May and include a Dance Recital and costumes. For more information, click here.

Homeschool Academy and Workshops

ACT One has announced the opening of a Homeschool Academy on Thursdays for K-12th Grade. Classes include:

Math and Science: Experiments and projects, Grades K-12
Language Arts and Creative Drama, Grades K-8
History through Literature, Grades K-8
Communication Arts/Storytelling, Grades K-5
Elementary Choir, Grades K-5
Understanding the Bible, Grades 6-12
Algebra, Grades 9-12
Chemistry, Grades 9-12
American Literature, Grades 9-12
Drama, Speech, and Debate, Grades 9-12
Show Choir, Grades 6-12
Film Production, Grades 6-12

Class size is limited so please enroll early to secure your spot:

K-2nd: 15 students
3rd-5th: 15 students
6th-8th: 15 students
9th-12: 25 students
